Big Peacock Bass, beatiful clear waters, jungle all around. Come and live amazon greatest fishing in the heart of Amazon Forest.
1º day (sunday): Reception at Barcelos / Santa Isabel airport, transfer to the Boat Tayaçu. Distribuiton of the suites and a welcome drink waits for you. This is the beggining of the trip going to the best fishing spots for peacock bass at Rio Negro and it´s tributaries. Free time for setting up your fishing tackle, rods and reels. Three hours later or at your wish we can serve lunch (meals include, salad, rice, black beans, pasta and always fish, chicken and red meat). From 2 p.m. fishermen can take their seats on our fishing boats (1 boat for 2 fishermen and a guide) and start fishing trip getting to know the place and water conditions. At 6 p.m. return to the boat, happy hour for fishermen “caipirinhas”, soft drinks, beer and finger food (olive oil, salami, cheese, etc...). At 8 or 9 p.m. dinner is served (meals include, slada, rice, beans, pasta, chicken, fish, red meat). Sleep time, while fishermen sleep, the boat and the crew keep going for another destination searching for the best fishing spots.
2º day (monday): Now it´s the real thing, there´s an option to take sandwiches on the boat to avoid returning for lunch and gain more time fishing, 5 p.m. time to return to the boat and if you want to continue fishing there are the big beasts of the Rio Negro, piraíbas (largest fresh water fish in the world can reach more than 450 lbs (big catfish)), piraras. At 7 p.m. fishing day is over, all fishermen must return to the boat. Dinner is served at 8 –9 p.m., there always finger food for you and drinks are included.
3º day (tuesday): Same schedule as the day before, some new spots are tried and the boat may move to another place or stay if everything is going fine.
4º day (wednesday): Idem, the boat now starts it´s return and stays at some beach on the Negro River.
5º day (thursday): Another great day on the search for the big peacocks, it feels like the trip is ending and that we want to continue. At night it will be a barbecue at the beach for celebrating and remember all those big ones that we couldn´t catch. The food served is “picanha”, pork ribs, roasted chicken, salads and more.
6º day (friday): Our effortless guides will try their best to get you to the best lakes, even if it means dragging the boat on the sand or cutting the way to them, maybe there you will find the hidden trophies of amazon. Fishing peacock is just like that “no pain , no gain”.
7º day (saturday): Now is the last time to find the big ones, fish time goes till 12:00 a . m. Around 7 p.m. it´s arrival time in Barcelos or Santa Isabel at night will be served last dinner or a dinner at a local restaurant is offered. Hoping everything went just the way you imagined and waiting for your return next time.
8º day (sunday): Free time during the morining till 9:00 a . m. You can visit places in Barcelos and shop some souvenirs, boarding time is 9:15 a . m.. If destiny is Santa Isabel boarding time is 7:15 a . m.

- During the trip, the program may be altered due to weather, natural events or political issues. It will be tried to stick to the program as much as it was offered on the package.
- It´s obligatory to take Yellow fever and Hepatites (type B) vaccims.
- If you have any specific medicine needs, we suggest you to bring a sufficient ammount for the whole days of fishing.
- We remember that it is necessary the License of Fishes Embarked (obligator transport) - more information in the site of the IBAMA;
